Random Movement Fact of the Month

Did you know the predecessor to the Movement Wiki, the Movement Doc, was the first use of the term Heavy Melee Cancel? Heavy Melee Cancelling is the act of using an item to cancel the recovery phase of your Heavy Melee (it used to be that certain abilities could cancel it too but that got removed in a patch). I first saw HMC on Abrams Abrams by a user called Abramsless on the Official Discord, made up a name, implemented into my document then kinda forgot about it. It didn't gain a lot of traction at first but soon picked up steam within Abrams Abrams and Paradox Paradox players until ability HMC got removed. Then, ABG used it in Deadlock Fight Night and the next day the whole thing got neutered. — compsoter 2025/07/27 05:34
