Scattered throughout the map, next to tall buildings, are **ropes**. These ropes allow you to quickly traverse up and down buildings, providing fast vertical movement.

While at a standstill, you are able to shoot your gun; when moving, you are locked out from shooting. While you are on the rope, you are not able to use any hero abilities; attempting to use an ability will show a prompt displaying that you are busy. 

Climbing upwards instantly accelerates you to ''511.80±0.03'' u/s. Climbing downwards instantly accelerates you to ''535±3'' u/s, then gradually increases to ''1182±2'' u/s over the next two seconds.

To latch onto a rope, hold the jump button (by default, SPACE). Climb upwards by pressing the forwards movement key; likewise, to climb downwards, press the downwards movement key. To detach, press the duck key or the jump key.
