Transit Lines

Transit Lines are the main mode of transportation to and from the lanes. There are three transit lines, sorted by name and colour:

  • York St - Yellow
  • Greenwich1) - Green
  • Broadway - Blue

These three transit lines go through each of the three lanes, reaching from base to base. The order of the transit lanes depends on your team:

  • The Amber Hand has York St on their left.
  • The Sapphire Flame has Broadway on their left.

Using the Transit Lines

You can ride the transit line by holding the dedicated zipline button (by default, SPACE) while on the ground or in the air.

  • If you have been in active combat, you will be locked out from riding the transit line for three seconds.
  • You can be shot off the transit line by enemy players.
    • If shot off, you will suffer a three-second stun and lose 15% of your maximum health.
    • After 2-3 seconds on the transit line, you gain stun protection against being shot off.
  • You can drop from the transit line by either pressing space or duck:
    • Pressing space will make you jump off.
    • Pressing duck will make you fall off.
    • Dropping off resets your double jump and air dash, allowing you to use them again if used before.
    • Dropping off using duck applies a buff that removes air drag for two seconds, which is useful in movement techniques like Zip Dash and Zipline Momentum Conservation.

Stamina Mechanics

Having your zipline keybind set to the same key as your jump key (or using zipline and jump very close together) enables some abnormal behaviour:

  • If you jump before using the transit line, you will get a stamina refund and regain the stamina bar lost while jumping.
  • If you drop off or jump off the zipline and re-attach within 0.2 seconds, you gain one stamina bar.
  • This behaviour is easier with the zipline keybind set to the same key as the jump key but can still be done with separate bindings.

Transit Line Speed

The speed you travel on each transit line is based on the lane and the number of enemy base guardians killed:

  • Inner lane travel at 693 u/s.
  • Outer lanes travel at 832 u/s (20% faster).
  • On inner lane straights with no enemy base guardians, speed is ~1450 u/s, with a ~60 u/s increase around corners.
  • On outer lane straights with no enemy base guardians, speed is ~1770 u/s, with a ~60 u/s increase around corners.
