

Stand Cancelling3) is the act of cancelling a crouched dash by standing up. After you stand up, you are fully actionable.
To execute a Stand Cancel, hold duck then dash. During the dash, let go of the duck key. You will cancel the dash short and stand up. You can also execute a Stand Cancel by binding either mouse wheel up or down to crouch and scrolling up or down when you want to Stand Cancel (this allows you to Stand Cancel without holding down duck beforehand)
Stand Cancelling costs one bar of Stamina. After a Stand Cancel, you are completely actionable and can do anything. This includes another Dashing in any direction, jumping, Dash Jump or another Stand Cancelling|Stand Cancel]]. The true utility of Stand Cancel is that you can do any of these options and more. It’s also simple to execute and better than regular dashing.
One use of Stand Cancelling is allowing you to dash quickly in rapid succession and change directions unpredictably. Another use is as a better SDCC during laning to confirm souls, since Stand Cancels have very little end lag.
