Zipline Momentum Conservation1) is a technique that relies on the transit lines that run throughout the three lanes.

ZMC takes no bars of Stamina.

While you are dismounting the transit line, you will have no air drag for two seconds, after which you will have 5% extra air drag2). This can be abused to conserve the speed from the transit line.

Some characters are able to capitalise on this using abilities that have cast times (abilities that have a timer at the bottom), maintaining momentum and allowing higher offensive capabilities.

These characters:

benefit from ZMC using their abilities. However, anyone on the cast can perform the technique.

To use ZMC, start holding the jump button to begin latching onto the transit line. During any point in the ascent from your starting position and the line, press the duck key. The buff will be applied to you, and you will be fully actionable in the air.
